Bacon Tortellini Bake

Yields: 6 servings

Temperature: 350 degrees

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (20 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 3 cups small fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 lb bacon strips, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce (or use the following instead of alfredo sauce)
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp bried basil
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 2 cups 2% milk
    • 2 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook tortellini according to package directions, adding brocolli during the last 2 minutes, drain.
  3. Combine everything into a baking dish and bake until cooked through.
